I noticed you are doing an out and back to Fort Steele on your first day. I’d like to suggest a slight change that would make that into a loop and you would get a chance to ride a very nice stretch of road as well. If you turn of Hwy 3 just before Wardner and take the Wardner Ft.Steele road it is a winding paved road with some fantastic mountain views and you come back onto hwy 93 at Ft Steele. It would not add any time to your trip. Also, there is a Shell station at the junction if fuel is a concern. Looks like an awesome trip, good luck and enjoy.
